Challenging Behavior

Providing care and supervision often involves managing the behaviour of passengers. This is a key part of the role played by passenger assistants in keeping passengers safe. Such behaviour includes swearing, offensive behaviour and aggression. Challenging behaviour can come with any person, regardless of age, race, gender or ability. As a passenger assistant it is up to you to control your own behaviour and diffuse potentially tense and difficult situations.

This course will teach you the different methods used to control certain situations and what you need to do if situations become out of hand or before they get out of hand.
